Random Horse Facts
Did you know horses can't puke?

Tonight, Sandra's horse Cali got sick.  Apparently, she ate something bad, or ate too much too fast, I don't really know the details, but my brother always explains things in a simple way:  their guts have to keep moving or they will die.  So, if they get something "clogged" somewhere in their digestive track, everything stops moving.  They try and fix it themselves by rolling around on the ground, but that is the worst thing they can do, as apparently that can actually twist their stomach into knots, and that is when they really die.

There is only one way to help the horse, and that is to keep them moving, so tonight we spent 3 hours taking turns walking Cali around in circles so she wouldn't lay down and waiting for her to poop.  Then Grant went to the store and bought two bottles of Pepto Bismol and we fed it to her through a turkey baster.  Yes, we fed a horse Pepto Bismol through a turkey baster.  She looked really funny actually, with pink goo all over her lips she looked like some kind of cheap horse prostitute.

Anyway, all is good.  She pooped.

I hope we get a new turkey baster before christmas.
